Synge's Riders to the Sea
I wanted more time with you.
She was gone and I cried.
Was there more we could do.
The earth pattered the coffin's surface.
I looked into his eyes, lost.
Unanswered questions rip my soul apart.
I've yet to meet my son.
Some endings offer no new beginnings.
Raindrops merrily bounce on gravestones. Assholes.
Music, meals, talk, time: Never enough.
But, I trusted you.
Even turning away you face something
Alas, it was all for naught.
A cleansing wind ignored her.
He plagiarized me and crushed my soul.
Ken is gone; Dick Cheney lives.
where's the requiem for our dream?
